San Diego AIA Chapter Seats Grochowiak
Edward A. Grochowiak, principal of the firm of SGPA Planning & Architecture, San Diego and San Francisco, is the 1988 president of the 950-member San Diego chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
Other officers are Donald L. Hanson of Austin Hansen Fehlman Group, vice president/president-elect; Edward L. Oremen of Oremen & Associates, immediate past president; David C. Thompson of Ralph Bradshaw/Richard Bundy & Associates, secretary, and Dale E. Jenkins, BSHA, treasurer.
Michael G. Marshall of Conwell-Marshall & Associates was elected a two-year director, along with James S. McGraw of James McGraw & Associates. Byron J. Anderson of Dominy/Cecil/Anderson Architects was elected a one-year director, and Melanie Rundle, associate director.
Oremen, the outgoing president, presented awards to Ernest W. Hahn, Carol Ann Strahan, Harriet Gill, Stanley F. Keniston, Adrea Skorepa, Leon Williams, Celia Ballesteros, Jim Bleisner and Judy Atkins.
