Local News in Brief : Suspect Charged as Adult
A 16-year-old reputed gang member accused of shooting a rival and three other people on an RTD bus was charged as an adult Tuesday with four counts of attempted murder.
Rudolph Rhaburn of South Los Angeles was initially charged in Juvenile Court but Friday was found unfit to be prosecuted as a juvenile.
Prosecutors said Rhaburn opened fire on an RTD bus near Vermont Avenue and 60th Street Feb. 26 when two rival gang members approached him.
