Arcadia : Senior Center Planned
The City Council has voted to build a $2.5-million senior citizens center at Huntington and Campus drives. The 17,000-square-foot center will include meeting rooms that can also be used for classes. The council has not decided how the center will be funded.
The site is occupied by a portable building that houses the Arcadia Historical Society. It will be moved to the southwest corner of the Arcadia Public Library at Duarte Road and Santa Anita Avenue.
