Retirement’s not all it’s cracked up to be, at least for humorist Garrison Keillor. He’ll be returning to Lake Wobegon, Minn., in June for “A Prairie Home Companion: The 2nd Annual Farewell Performance.” Keillor, who left the 13-year-old show last year to move to Denmark and return to full-time writing, told a New York news conference on Tuesday that he’ll say goodby again June 3 and 4 at Radio City Music Hall. The second show will be broadcast by American Public Radio and the Disney Channel cable-TV network. Said Keillor, who now lives in New York: “After (‘Prairie Home’) ended, people started to remember it as wonderful and even fabulous, and soon, I am afraid, nostalgia will make that show into a legend. I wanted to do the show again before people started to admire it so much that I wouldn’t be able to perform without damaging my reputation.”
