New Mexico State basketball players Pierre Smith and Jeffery Williams were scheduled for an appearance in Honolulu District Court for arraignment on felony theft charges, police said.

Smith, 23, and Williams, 20, in Honolulu with the New Mexico team to play in the University of Hawaii Thanksgiving tournament, were arrested Friday by security guards and accused of taking clothing from a Honolulu department store.
