Credit Card Charges

It would be worthwhile to alert travelers to how costly it is to use credit cards in Cabo San Lucas. I arrived with not enough traveler’s checks or cash and was told that I could arrange credit on my MasterCard account via an L.A. office on a business day. The amount was agreed at $500. When my bill was presented there was a charge of $20 for the courtesy.
