A van carrying members of the Rosemead Seventh Day Adventist Korean Church on an outing in Northern California rolled over on Interstate 5 near Los Banos. A 14-year old boy was killed and 15 other teen-agers and adults were injured. California Highway Patrol officers said the van’s left rear tire blew out and caused the vehicle to veer into a highway divider and turn over. The 14-year old was crushed beneath the van. Conditions of the other passengers who were taken to two Modesto hospitals were not immediately available. Investigators said the van was not speeding.
