Scientist Wins Award

W. Gilbert Clark, UCLA professor and vice chairman of the physics department, has received a 1986 Senior U.S. Scientist Award, established by the Alexander von Humboldt Stiftung, a nonprofit foundation based in Bonn, West Germany.

Clark, who was recognized for his accomplishments in research and teaching, studies new mechanisms for electrical conduction.
