Nine Paintings Stolen From French Museum

CAHORS, France — Nine paintings, including works by Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali and Henri Magritte, were stolen from the Municipal Museum over the Bastille Day holiday weekend, police said Tuesday.
The museum’s alarm system went off twice Sunday night, but security guards did not have keys to get inside and saw nothing unusual outside the building, a museum official said.
