Driver Hits Wall, Dies: An Anaheim man was killed early Saturday when he failed to negotiate a turn, and his pickup truck hit a stone and cement wall, police said. Lt. Larry Hodges said Bret Allane Hamlett suffered massive internal injuries and cardiac arrest at 12:40 a.m. when his truck slammed into a wall at Eastgate Park at the intersection of Chapman Avenue and St. Mark Street. Hamlett died at 5 a.m. at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital, Hodges said.
