Roberto Clemente Jr., the son of one of the most versatile and talented players in major league baseball history, said in Charleston, S.C., Sunday night that he’s giving up baseball to pursue a career in public relations.
Clemente, 20, is the son of Hall of Famer and former Pittsburgh Pirate star Roberto Clemente, who died in a 1972 airplane crash.
