Lakers Might Do Well by Also Not Repeating Mistakes of 1985-86
I’m confused. Here the Lakers led by three points with some 30 seconds left and the Rockets had the ball. The Lakers didn’t want a three-point shot, so why didn’t the Lakers foul someone with less than 24 seconds to play? So they shoot two free throws and make them. The Lakers have the ball with a one-point lead and don’t have to give it up. I’d kind of like the Lakers’ chances of winning, but then, I’m not paid a handsome salary to think of those things.
