Rambo’s victims are obviously dead, noted the Finn, but cartoon victims bounce back, no matter how awful their injuries. Worse, said Kaj Bjorkkvist, the violence is supposed to be funny .

In Hollywood, a Disney spokesman defended Donald as a duck who stands “for peace, not violence.”
