Poles Offer $3,000 Reward for Statue

WARSAW — A $3,000 reward has been offered for information concerning the whereabouts of a priceless religious statue stolen from Gniezno Cathedral.
The life-size silver effigy of St. Wojciech (Adalbert), who brought Christiniaty to Poland in the 10th Century, was removed from the ornate sarcophagus containing his relics by unknown burglars last Thursday.
