Explosion at Steam Plant Injures 14 Utility Workers

MONROE, Mich. — A steam line at a coal-fired power plant exploded Thursday and at least 14 Detroit Edison Co. employees were injured, officials said. They said no one was seriously hurt, and the cause of the blast had not yet been determined.
