Chanting “With God and patriotism!” about 500 Nicaraguan refugees in Honduras began what they called a march on Washington to see U.S. help in overthrowing their country’s leftist government. Although they named Washington as their destination, the refugees admitted that they probably will have trouble even leaving Honduras because more than half of them lack passports. they estimated that the journey to Honduras’ border with Guatemala will take about a week.
