KOCE’S COOPER TO EXAMINE POLLUTION, ARTS CENTER

In June, “Jim Cooper’s Orange County” on KOCE-Channel 50 will examine air pollution in Orange County, Horatio Alger Award-winner John Crean, the national convention of the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) and the Orange County Performing Arts Center.

In the June 7 program, “Orange County Air Quality: the Air We Breathe,” Cooper will interview local community officials, including Supervisor Harriett Wieder and Anaheim Mayor Don Roth.

Crean, Fleetwood Enterprises chairman and chief executive, who recently was given the Horatio Alger Award in New York, will be profiled on the June 14 edition of the show.

For the June 21 episode, Cooper will talk to representatives of LULAC about their national convention, which will be held in Orange County in June.

The final program of the month will be titled “The Performing Arts Center: Building the Dream,” which airs June 28. All shows air at 8:30 p.m. The June 7 and 14 shows will be repeated the following Saturdays at 11:30 a.m., while repeats of the June 21 and 28 programs will run the following Saturdays at 10 a.m.
