Fires Burn 5,200 Acres of Florida Forest; 300 Flee

NAPLES, Fla. — A pair of wind-whipped fires believed set by arsonists burned more than 5,200 acres of forest and threatened dozens of mobile homes Friday.
More than 300 persons were evacuated, but no injuries were reported. At least two houses, three mobile homes and a barn were destroyed, and firefighters dug fire lines to save other structures.
