Football: A tribute to mothers

Two football players whose mothers died of breast cancer found a way last week to honor them with a moment that will be forever remembered.
Late in the football game between Corona Centennial and Eastvale Roosevelt, Centennial Coach Matt Logan put in a new quarterback, his daughter, Sami, a senior. On her second play, she completed an 18-yard pass to receiver Jordan Dye.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and both players lost their mothers to cancer.
