Baseball: Loyola pitchers are coming through

Loyola is having a big summer in baseball, particularly its pitchers. The Cubs have advanced to Friday’s semifinals of the Valley Invitational Baseball League against Saugus after throwing two shutouts and a one-hitter.

Loyola is also competing in the South Bay Summer Baseball League playoffs that begin on Friday.
