Boys’ basketball: Westchester wins 11th City title

Westchester (27-3) won its 11th City Section Division I championship with a 70-60 victory over Taft. The Comets’ solid, consistent play at the guard position was the difference, along with a strong second-half performance from Dwayne Polee Jr., who had 19 points and 10 rebounds.
Bryce Jones had 29 points for Taft.
