Westchester is showing why it’s a 10-time City Section champion and No. 1 seed, taking a 49-36 lead over Taft after three quarters of the Division I final.
Westchester put together a 10-2 run to open a 44-32 lead in the quarter. Kareem Jamar made a three-pointer, Dwayne Polee had a basket, Jordin Mayes made a three-pointer and Reggie Murphy had a dunk. The Comets are executing on offense, with a variety of contributors.
Then the lead got even larger after Polee made a three-pointer.
