Football: Crespi off to quick start in Utah

With eight minutes left in the first quarter, Crespi has taken an 8-0 lead over Layton (Utah) Northridge in its season-opening game in St. George, Utah.

Junior quarterback Bryan Bennett scored on a short run. Crespi, runner-up to Long Beach Poly in the Pac-5 Division last season, has several key returning players on offense.
