Oaks Christian has a well-known history of sending athletes to Division I, with Jimmy Clausen and Marc Tyler serving as good examples of players now at big-time colleges. And it appears there are a couple more Lions waiting in the wings to do the same.

Several colleges have inquired about Chris Coyle recently. The 6-foot-3 senior tight end has offers from Air Force, Army, Boise State and Washington State. According to these quotes, programs such as Arizona State and UCLA are regularly checking in too.

Zach Stout is another one of those kids from the Westlake Village school who’s been in the news quite a bit. There are reports indicating that Oregon State has a scholarship pending for the 6-foot-2 junior linebacker and Cal, Oregon and USC are interested as well.
