Baseball: Granada Hills Kennedy to honor Cassel

Granada Hills Kennedy will retire the jersey of former pitcher Jack Cassel during a ceremony at 11 a.m. on Feb. 9 as part of its alumni game.

Cassel, who now pitches for the Houston Astros, will be the fifth former Kennedy player to have his uniform retired, joining Garret Anderson, Jon Garland, Terrmel Sledge and Jim Anderson.
