South-Central Los Angeles: A Latina woman in her 40s was killed in a bicycle ride-by shooting in the 6300 block of South Main Street just east of the Harbor Freeway near the Gage exit at 8:21 p.m. Tuesday, May 29. The suspect fired several rounds and then fled on a bicycle. She died at the scene. The homicide in LAPD Newton Division, which straddles Central Avenue as it runs south from the Garment District, was the third since last week. More to come.
