The hits just keep coming for Yahoo.
The struggling Internet company, which is on the verge of losing key members of its executive team, has now lost something else: Its title as the second-largest Internet hangout to view online video.
According to a report from research firm ComScore, that title now goes to Facebook, the largest social networking site (more than 500 million users), which has seen its video viewership explode in popularity.
Online video viewership remained steady in August, the ComScore report said, with 178 million U.S. Internet viewers. YouTube came in first with 146.3 million unique viewers. Facebook had 58.6 million viewers. Yahoo came in third with 53.9 million viewers.
