The New York Rangers probably won’t be lifting the Stanley Cup next June (maybe that’s wishful thinking on my part -- I’m a Devils fan), but at least they got to carry the material girl.

The Rangers made a short trek to the Ed Sullivan Theater on Monday to present the Top 10 Things Never Before Spoken by a Hockey Player on the ‘Late Show With David Letterman.’ They also carried Madonna onto the stage in a sort of Ark of the Covenant manner -- only with hockey sticks.
