Zoo creatures? You won’t find them here. Looks like our favorite artificially sun-kissed ladies of “Jersey Shore” have gone to charm school and turned in the poofs and bustiers for chignons and -- gasp! -- gowns, which aren’t exactly suitable for doing those zany dance floor back flips.
With a little expert help from Lizzie Post (great-great-granddaughter of Emily Post and an etiquette book author) and Manhattan socialite Tinsley Mortimer, Snooki, J-Woww and Sammi got glam for the latest issue of Harper’s Bazaar, which hits newsstands next week. Not that they feel they really need it. In the accompanying video, Snooki reveals she used to take etiquette classes. “I know a couple things about manners,’ she says in the interview. ‘I just don’t use them.” Really? And Sammi says, ‘I already know, like, how to be a lady.’ Cue a shot of J-Woww checking her teeth in the knife.
Their brawny counterparts -- Mike ‘The Situation,’ Vinny, Ronnie and Paul ‘DJ Pauly D’-- went in a different direction for their spread in Interview magazine: They went topless. And, for some odd reason, there’s an image of them holding a massive sub sandwich as supermodel Bar Refaeli ‘nibbles’ on it.
But if you’d rather see the cast of ‘Jersey Shore’ on your TV, you’ll have to wait until July, when the second season, which was filmed in South Beach, premieres.
