Google taking its ‘street view’ feature to the Olympics

It appears Google is no longer satisfied with just mapping out streets.
The search engine giant has launched a Winter Olympics “street view” feature, allowing users to see some of the same views many competitors will experience during the Games. The website is still not completely finished, but most of the Olympic venues are mapped out (check out the Alpine skiing “street view” here).
Google employees used a camera on top of a snowmobile to take photos of the skiing venues. Check out this video to see how they did it:
