Born in Winnipeg and based in New York City, pen and ink illustrator Marcel Dzama creates weirdly whimsical worlds of his own populated with imaginary creatures, including tearful ghosts and melting snowmen. In a collaboration with Cereal Art, a manufacturer of limited edition artist-designed products, Dzama created the porcelain Sea Salt and Jester Pepper shaker set shown here. Certain to delight kids and mortify in-laws, it may also discourage over-seasoning. Temptingly, it has been reduced by 40%, from $100 to $60, in a sale that runs through Tuesday, June 30.
