Teen retailer Aeropostale is looking for real, ‘everyday’ teenagers to feature in its fall ad campaign. Eight lucky teens (four young men and four young women) will win $5,000 scholarships and a trip to New York for the photo shoot.

Aeropostale is seeking ‘everyday teens doing everyday’ good, ‘whether that means helping others, caring for the environment or just being a good person; Aéropostale appreciates every teenager for what they do no matter how big or how small,’ the company website proclaims.

Teen retailers in general must be feeling pretty grateful for their young shoppers. As The Times reported earlier this week, this segment of the market soared over the last two months and posted a 6.5% gain in year-over-year sales this January compared to last. Teens rock!

The entry deadline is April 5. To throw your hat into the ring, go to Aeropostale’s website. You can see the entries and vote on who you think should be in the top 87 finalists. A panel of judges will take it from there.
