Weekend events
On Saturday and Sunday (Feb. 6-7), collectors and clotheshorses head for the tri-annual Vintage Fashion Expo at Santa Monica’s Civic Auditorium. The show features 85 dealers of designer fashions from the past.
Vintage jewelry expert Leigh Leshner will be appraising baubles from noon to 2 p.m. both days. General admission is $10, which will give you a ticket that’s good for both days, or $20 to hit the floor early (9:30 a.m.) on opening day.

On Saturday (Feb. 6), LaRocca Skincare, maker of colloidal 24-karat gold moisturizers, hosts a pre-Valentine pampering at Fred Segal’s Studio Beautymix. Enjoy complimentary hair styling and hand treatments as well as champagne and hors d’oeuvres. Ten percent of sale proceeds will benefit the Ann and George Lopez Foundation for families coping with kidney treatment. Save a treatment spot by RSVP’ing to [email protected].
