Sister Cities group seeks student reps
The newly formed La Cañada Flintridge Sister Cities Assn. is looking for four local high school students to represent La Cañada at the Sister Cities International Youth Leadership Summit being held July 13 through 16 in Washington, D.C.
The nonprofit organization will select four students to attend the summit, which provides participants a unique opportunity to interact with other student leaders from around the world.

Chosen students will also represent the city at various events and activities throughout the following school year. Selected students must join the association as a student member ($25 fee), commit to a minimum one-year period, attend an informational meeting and cover the cost of airfare to and from the event.
The conference is open to any La Cañada resident who is currently a high school freshman, sophomore or junior. Applications and detailed information are available at La Cañada Flintridge City Hall, 1327 Foothill Blvd., or online at sistercities.org/YLS. They must be returned to the city clerk or the address on the application form by April 5.
