Glendale man arrested, charged with 14 counts of burglary for series of commercial break-ins
Police linked a 28-year-old Glendale probationer to more than a dozen break-ins in recent months reported at restaurants, banquet halls and hair salons in Glendale and Burbank.
Hakob Torosyan, who is on probation for evading police and has prior theft and burglary convictions, was charged with 14 counts of commercial burglary, according to Burbank Police Sgt. Claudio Losacco.

He is being held without bail and is due in court next week.
Torosyan is suspected of breaking into and stealing mostly cash from several businesses, including the Crystal Shrine jewelry store, La Bamba restaurant, Ritz Celebration Hall, Boba Loca, Burbank Bar and Grille, Oasis Nail Spa and Beauty World.
After investigators identified Torosyan using surveillance footage, Glendale police obtained a warrant for his arrest. Burbank investigators arrested him in Hollywood last Friday.
The case remains under investigation.
