Orange Coast college sophomores Cori Haney and Ana Villanueva have been named first-team All-Orange Empire Conference in women’s soccer.

OCC sophomores Manuela Ramirez and Karla Romero were second-team honorees.

Haney, a midfielder, led the Pirates with 13 goals and 30 points (two points for a goal and one for an assist), while Villanueva, a forward, had a team-best eight assists and two goals. Villanueva’s 12 points ranked third on the team.

Haney was a second-team choice last season.

Ramirez, also a second-team performer as a freshman, had two assists as a defender for the Pirates, who finished 12-6-4 and lost in the first round of the Southern California Regional playoffs.
