Men’s Water Polo: UCI seeded No. 7 in MPSF Tournament

The No. 7-ranked UC Irvine men’s water polo team will play San Jose State in the play-in game of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Tournament on Friday at 8:30 a.m. at USC.

The Anteaters (14-10, 3-6 in conference) are the No. 7 seed.

San Jose State (3-24, 0-9) is seeded No. 10 after finishing last in conference play.

If victorious, UCI would advance to meet No. 2-seeded and No. 2-ranked Pacific in a quarterfinal on Friday at 2:30 p.m.

The semifinals are scheduled Saturday at 2:30 and 4 p.m., with the final set for Sunday at 4:30 p.m.
