Jessica Chase had a match-high 16 kills and hit .439 for the winners (18-4, 11-0 in conference).
Sarah McKinny had 10 kills and five block assists, while Rachel Barker had 11 kills and two block assists for Vanguard.

RIVERSIDE — Setter Shelley Anderson had 39 assists, two aces, two solo blocks and four block assists to lead the visiting Anteaters to a 25-23, 25-22, 25-19 sweep in the Big West Conference match on Saturday.
Idara Akpakpa had eight kills, hit .500 and had a match-best five block assists for the winners (10-11, 4-5 in conference), who received nine kills apiece from Marisa Bubica and Latour Lena.
The Highlanders fell to 7-15, 2-7.

Freshman Peter Marquez produced a hat trick to lead the host Pirates in the Orange Empire Conference game on Tuesday.
Marquez, a Costa Mesa High product, scored in the 14th, 18th and 25th minutes to help OCC improve to 6-8-1, 5-4 in conference.
Colton Goodness and Cobi Biefield added goals and Taylor Kane had a pair of assists for the Pirates.
Ryan Brown had three saves and Osiel Porcayo added two to help preserve the shutout.
Norco is 3-10-2, 1-7-1.

NORTHRIDGE — Jorge Lara scored in the second minute and Luis Leon finalized in the 76th minute to lead the visiting Anteaters in the Big West Conference South Division game on Saturday.
Thomas Janjigian, Matthew Tilley and Lalo Calzada had assists, while Elliot Farmer made two saves for his first career shutout.
UCI is 5-9-3, 3-4-1 in conference.
CSUN is 7-7-2, 3-4-1.
UCI plays host to South Division-leading Cal State Fullerton on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

PHOENIX — The visiting Lions received two goals and two assists from Nahum Paz to dominate the Golden State Athletic Conference game on Saturday.
Ivan Azpeita and Luke Kadillak had one goal apiece, while Jesus Fregoso was credited with two assists.
The No. 6-ranked Lions improved to 12-3, 6-2 in conference.
Arizona Christian is 2-10-1, 1-8.

Busby scored in the third minute for all OCC (8-5-3, 7-3-2 in conference) would need. She finalized the scoring in the 90th minute, after Samantha Lombardo made it 2-0 in the 61st minute.
Nicole Lombardo, Emma Gomez and Karla Romero had assists for OCC.
Golden West fell to 6-8-2, 4-6-2.

PHOENIX — Danyelle Allen had two goals and Madison Cody Ferell added one goal and two assists for the visiting Lions in the Golden State Athletic Conference match on Saturday.
Alex Bachman had a goal and an assist, while Haley Bruce and Rayven Hernandez also had goals for the No. 15-ranked winners (11-4-1, 5-2-1 in conference).
The Lions posted a 29-2 shot advantage over the hosts (2-11, 0-9).
