Noah Mayne earned medalist honors for the Sailors with four-over par 39 in the Sunset League match at Newport Beach Country Club on Thursday.

Ethan Barnes (40), Ryan Standt (43), Chase Braun (44) and Richie Simons (47) also scored for Newport Harbor (8-3, 7-2 in league).

The Sailors play against Los Alamitos Monday at Costa Mesa Country Club

Mason Tufuga recorded 23 kills and five aces to lead the Mustangs to a 25-14, 25-17, 25-22 Orange Coast League win on Thursday.

Simon Daniel (10 kills, four blocks), Nick Warner (six kills, 10 digs) and Coby Pham (37 assists) also contributed for Costa Mesa (13-2, 7-2 in league).

Corona del Mar 14, Northwood 4

IRVINE — Bjorn Hoffmann and Kyle Pham both swept in singles for the Sea Kings in Thursday’s Pacific Coast League match at Northwood High.

Pedro Fernandez and Jacob Cooper swept at No. 1 doubles for CdM, which improved to 14-4, and 7-2 in league.

The Sea Kings, ranked No. 6 in CIF Southern Section Division 1, conclude league play at Irvine on Monday.

SANTA ANA — Emily Kubisty pitched the complete game and also hit a two-run home run for the Eagles in Thursday’s Orange Coast League road game.

Estancia is now 9-9, 5-1 in league, and plays at Calvary Chapel on Tuesday.
