PHOENIX — Senior Sean Isaac struck out eight in eight innings to improve to 9-1 and senior Michael Jordan notched his 10th save for the visiting Lions in the Golden State Athletic Conference game Friday.

Matt Harris was two for two with one run batted in and Paul Keating was two for four and scored a run for the No. 15-ranked Lions (24-9-1, 14-5 in conference).

ACU is 9-20, 6-16.

The series concludes with a doubleheader on Saturday.

Santa Ana 12, Orange Coast 4

Taylor Gallo went four for four with two doubles, one run batted in and one run scored to pace the host Pirates in the Orange Empire Conference game Friday.

Cayla Ezelle was two for three to add to OCC’s 11-hit attack.

The Pirates (6-18, 4-9 in conference) had one more hit than the Dons (12-16, 6-7), who survived five errors.
