SAN DIEGO — Adrian Faitalia had 20 kills and two aces to help lead the Pirates to a 23-25, 25-23, 25-22, 25-23 Pacific Coast Conference victory on Wednesday.

Gianluca Grasso added 14 kills and four aces and setter Jake Adams amassed 44 assists for OCC (15-2, 8-1 in conference).

The Pirates play host to rival Golden West for first place in the PCC Friday at 6 p.m.

Cal Baptist def. UC Irvine

RIVERSIDE — Michael Saeta had eight kills and three aces to lead the visiting Anteaters in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation match on Wednesday.

Cal Baptist posted a 25-23, 25-22, 25-23 victory to drop UCI to 8-18, 5-14 in conference.

Dante Chakravorti had 24 assists for UCI.

Cal Baptist is 13-14, 5-14.

Santiago Canyon 12, Orange Coast 4

Gretchen Horn and Emma Silvestri were both two for two to pace the host Pirates in the Orange Empire Conference game Tuesday.

Taylor Gallo and Christina Freeman each had one run batted in for OCC (6-17, 4-8 in conference).

Santiago Canyon is 24-4, 10-3.
