Corona del Mar 40, Irvine 26
IRVINE — Natalia Bruening had 14 points and 18 rebounds for the Sea Kings, who finished second place in league after Thursday’s Pacific Coast League finale.
Kelly Tam had eight points, five assists and three steals for CdM (20-6, 8-2 in league). Melody Yoo had six points on a pair of three-pointers.
Woodbridge (9-1 in league) won the league title after edging University, 42-38, on Thursday.
CdM awaits the release of the CIF playoff brackets on Sunday.

Sage Hill 45, Crean Lutheran 37
IRVINE — Heather Park had 23 points to lead the visiting Lightning in the Academy League game on Thursday.
Kate Knollenberg had 12 points and Kenna Knollenberg added nine for Sage Hill (17-6, 10-2 in league), which finishes second and will advance to the CIF Southern Section playoffs.

Corona del Mar 60, Irvine 39
IRVINE — Senior Matt Ctvrtlik finished with 17 points for the Sea Kings, who finished tied for second place in the Pacific Coast League on Thursday.
Nicholas Borquez added 14 points for CdM (19-8, 6-4 in league), which split second in league with Beckman.
The Sea Kings qualified for the CIF Southern Section Division 3A playoffs. They learn of their opening-round opponent on Sunday, when the section releases the playoff pairings.

Crean Lutheran 70, Sage Hill 33
IRVINE — Dominic Sadeghi had 12 points to lead the visiting Lightning in the Academy League game Thursday.
Sage (16-8, 8-4 in league) finished third behind Crean and St. Margaret’s to earn a guaranteed berth in the CIF Southern Section playoffs.

SANTA ANA — Senior Kailey Alama had 10 rebounds and senior Jeffery Mensah-William had five points for the visiting Eagles in the Orange Coast League game Thursday.
The Eagles finish the regular season 11-17, 1-9 in league.

IRVINE — Freshman Katharine Caston scored twice for the Sea Kings in Thursday’s Pacific Coast League finale at Irvine High.
CdM (9-7-7, 4-3-3 in league) finished tied for second in league with University. However, the Sea Kings own the head-to-head tiebreaker and will be the league’s second designated team in the CIF Southern Section Division 2 playoffs.
Ava McKenzie had a goal and assist Thursday, while Ally Doherty also scored and Leah Givant and Liz Lamie had assists.
Kat Hess made three saves for CdM, and Ally Lozano had one.
CdM awaits the release of the CIF playoff brackets on Monday.

SANTA ANA — The Eagles finished second in the Orange Coast League, despite Thursday’s setback in the league finale at the Santa Ana Sports Complex.
Estancia (12-5-4, 5-3-2 in league) qualified for the CIF Southern Section Division 4 playoffs. The section will release the playoff pairings on Monday.

Grant Joyce finished with two goals and an assist for the Pacific Coast League champion Sea Kings on Thursday.
Blake Munger and Will O’Connor each had a goal and two assists for CdM (17-2-1, 9-1-0 in league).
The Sea Kings find out on Monday who they open up the CIF Southern Section Division 3 playoffs with next week.
