Man arrested in Fountain Valley with drugs, gun and cash in car, police say
A man whose vehicle police say contained marijuana, cocaine, a loaded gun and cash was arrested in Fountain Valley, authorities said.
Fountain Valley police pulled over a vehicle shortly after 11 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Brookhurst Street and Slater Avenue on what authorities said was a vehicle code violation. Officers checked the driver’s record and learned he had felony convictions in Nevada, according to police.
Officers searched the vehicle and said they found 5 pounds of marijuana, about 13.7 grams of cocaine, a large amount of cash and a loaded handgun with a high-capacity magazine.

Jake Daniel Antonacci, 28, of Las Vegas was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sale, transportation of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale, possession of more than 28.5 grams of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance while armed with a loaded firearm, felon in possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition by a prohibited person and possession of a high-capacity magazine, police said.
Antonacci was released on bond Friday morning, according to Orange County Jail records.
