Costa Mesa walkers take strides against breast cancer
They all wore pink.
Breast cancer survivors, family members, caregivers and others participated Sunday in the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5K walk at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa.
The noncompetitive walk was meant to raise awareness and money to help fight breast cancer, according to a news release.
As of Tuesday afternoon, the event had raised $139,782, according to its website.
