Costa Mesa man suspected of possessing heroin with intent to sell
A man whom police found walking on a sidewalk in Costa Mesa was arrested early Sunday on suspicion of possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia with intent to sell, authorities said.
Blake Mathews, 29, of Costa Mesa was arrested at about 12:30 a.m.
Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Adams Avenue and Albatross Drive, where a 911 call reporting a “suspicious male” led them to Mathews, according to authorities.
Mathews was transferred to Orange County Jail with bail set at $25,000.
