Biz News: Costa Mesa vinyl record shop to celebrate 5th anniversary

Creme Tangerine, a vinyl record shop in Costa Mesa, will have a fifth-anniversary party Friday night.

The event will start at 7 p.m. at the store, which is inside an Airstream trailer at The Lab shopping center, 2930 Bristol St.

The party will include live music, free food and drinks, raffle prizes and Cassandra, Creme Tangerine’s new fortune-telling machine.

Corona del Mar gets Smart & Final

Smart & Final Extra recently opened in Corona del Mar.

The grocery store, at 3049 E. Coast Hwy., combines “the high-quality, fresh produce of a farmers market, the low prices of a discount grocer and the large club-size products of a traditional club store,” according to its website.

It replaces a Haggen supermarket that closed last year.

Raising Cane’s to donate to autism charity

Raising Cane’s, a chicken restaurant in Costa Mesa, will raise funds each Monday in April for Talk About Curing Autism, a nonprofit that helps families affected by autism.

On April 4, 11, 18 and 25, the restaurant, at 3150 Harbor Blvd., will donate 15% of its proceeds from customers who mention the TACA fundraiser.
