Mist doesn’t deter Huntington Beach kite fliers

Dozens of kite-flying enthusiasts gathered in Huntington Beach on Saturday for the city’s 15th annual Kite Party.

The free event was held all day at the pier, at the end of Main Street, and will continue through Sunday.

About 100 experienced kite fliers put on a show for spectators and even gave free kite lessons.
