Community Animal Network has a Pets For Seniors program that benefits local seniors and saves animals’ lives. The organization gives mature cats to seniors, and the animals’ veterinary expenses and treatments are provided for the pet’s lifetime by Community Animal Network.

Program participants have no need to worry if at any time they are unable to provide care for themselves or the animal, because Community Animal Network will find another home for the pet.

Bentley has been the mascot for our Pets for Seniors program for more than a decade and just recently passed away at 18 years old.

In celebration of Bentley’s life, Community Animal Network requests that donations be sent in his memory to Pets For Seniors. Only with donations can this worthwhile program continue to serve seniors in the community.

Newport Beach resident Elaine Wexler-Mitchell, a board-certified feline specialist, treats Community Animal Network’s cats.

For more information, call (949) 759-3646. To donate, mail checks to Community Animal Network, P.O. Box 8662, Newport Beach, CA 92658. Note on the check: Pets for Seniors program and tax identification number 33-0971560.
