Run For Mercy 5K

Vanguard University will host its annual family-friendly Run For Mercy 5K to raise funds for Army veteran and alumnus Nathan Harrington, who is fighting a nearly 10-year battle with Huntington’s Disease. Newport Beach City Arts Commission presents a sculpture exhibit by local artist Judit Laufer at Newport Beach Public Library, Central Library, 1000 Avocado Ave. Library hours are from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays.
