NEWPORT BEACH — Newport Harbor won all of its competitions Friday in the four-team, two-day tournament at The Tennis Club Newport Beach.
Each dual match consists of five singles and four doubles sets in the 10th annual invitational that has a round-robin format.
The Sailors have a big lead.
In doubles, Newport Harbor defeated Sage Hill 2, 4-0; Sage Hill 1, 4-0; and Tesoro, 3-1.
In singles, Newport Harbor defeated Oaks Christian 4-1.
Tesoro defeated Sage Hill 2, 5-0 in singles and Sage Hill 1, 3-1 in doubles.
Oaks Christian defeated Sage Hill 1, 5-0 in singles, Sage Hill 2, 4-1 in singles.
Saturday’s play begins at 11 a.m. at The Tennis Club on Saturday.
